- A maternity home with 12 mothers and babies uses up to 140 diapers every single day. Your support helps provide essential daily needs that make a direct impact on families in our care.
- Women at Vita Nova learn safe sleep practices for their babies, including the importance of avoiding co-sleeping. Sleep sacks are an essential part of creating a safer sleep environment and helping babies sleep safely on their own.
- At Vita Nova, mothers are taught daily cleaning routines, healthy hygiene habits, and life skills to help create safe, healthy homes for their babies and children. These hands-on lessons build confidence, encourage independence, and help set families up for long-term success. This includes bottle washing, self-care, and laundry/cleaning basics.
- One of the goals for women completing the Vita Nova program is to successfully transition into independence in their own home or apartment. We strive to help set each family up for success by assisting with moving needs and providing essential household items to help create a safe, stable, and welcoming home.
